Advocacy and Cause-Related Marketing Agency Interlex captured 7 Telly Awards. Founded in 1978, the Telly is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online film and video. The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, interactive agencies, and corporate video departments in the world. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and countries around the world.

Four of the Telly Awards won by Interlex were for work conducted in 2008; these included Telly Awards for the SafeLink Wireless campaign in the Public Service and Telecommunications categories and Telly Awards for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality “Yardwise” Campaign in the Public Service and Not-for-Profit categories.

Three additional Classic Gold Telly Awards were garned by Interlex in special categories created exclusively for this year’s 30th Annual Telly Awards to honor work produced in the last 30 years. Classic Gold Telly Awards were bestowed on the Texas Department of State Health Services’ “Vaccines: Build Your Child’s Health” campaign; the WIC Enrollment campaign; and the SafeLink Wireless campaign.
