Agency Expands Public Health & Healthcare Specialty

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 3, 2006

In 2006 Interlex plans to focus on building upon the phenomenal growth of its Public Health & Healthcare group. 2005 saw the addition of exciting new clients in this vital arena for the agency. In addition to Interlex’s ongoing work as one of the agencies of record for Texas Department of State Health Services in the areas of Immunizations, Tobacco Cessation & Prevention, Cancer Control, Bioterrorism Preparedness & Response, and WIC, Interlex added a number of new recognizable clients to its roster. These include: American Cancer Society, Baylor College of Medicine, University of Texas Medical Branch, San Antonio Metro Health, Heartland Institute, TB Education & Resource Center, and the Delaware Department of State Health Services. Furthermore, Interlex continued to provide services for the Adventist Health System, a client since 1998.

“Given the severe health disparities within multicultural publics,” Agency President Rudy Ruiz stated, “I’d have to say that Public Health & Healthcare are at the top of the list in terms of how we can best make an impact with our expertise and proprietary tools and insights. Our focus in 2006 will be to continue expanding the scope of our involvement in these areas, adding value to the efforts of both private and public sector entities on a regional and national level.”
